With the looming national truck stoppage on 1 September 2019, we urge all truck company owners, employees and drivers to assist Trans African Concessions (TRAC) to keep the N4 Toll Route safe during this time. Although we respect people’s rights to protest, we condemn any form of criminal activity. Discounted toll voucher for Great Train Race participants

Trans African Concessions (TRAC) is again supporting the annual Rotary Greatest Train Race (GTR), which takes place this year on Saturday, August 24. TRAC’s is offering special concessions to Class 1 vehicles at the Middelburg Toll Plaza during the closure of the R555 between eMalahleni and Middelburg between 5am and 2pm. Qualifying motorists will be diverted by marshals and traffic officials onto the N4 receive a voucher at a discounted rate of R24.00 (instead of R62.00) at the Middelburg Plaza. Schoemanskloof roadworks complete

The rehabilitation of Schoemanskloof – between Crossroads and the Mashishing Intersection – is complete and Stop/Go’s have come to an end. The project took 10 months to complete, cost R80 million and  benefited local communities as the contractor – Tau Pele Construction – subcontracted portions of the initiative to locals. Numerous local labourers were also temporarily employed.
