Watson’s death – foul play suspected or not?

The death of former African Global Operations (formerly Bosasa) chief executive, Gavin Watson, who would have testified during the SARS tax inquiry soon, are now seeing conspiracy theories abound. With being as Watson himself said, “untouchable”, thanks to his friendship with Jacob Zuma, the late CEO had been implicated in dodgy tax deals with SARS. But, said Hawks spokesperson, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, inquiries into Bosasa would continue. There had also been allegations of money laundering.
