Duzi spill kills 80% of all marine life

The famous Duzi River has seen a  massive, toxic spill of oil and caustic soda from Willowton Oil in Pietermaritzburg. As much as 80% of all  fish, plants, invertebrates, insects and other aquatic life have been killed. Renowned river ecologist Mark Graha, said to Roving Reporters (DM) that almost two million litres of  edible oil and caustic soda had fish jumping out of the water to escape the poison.
