Urgent message to social grant beneficiaries.
SASSA has identified 2800 potential fraud cases from 2200 different banks. Six hundred of these (600) have been committed at the National Post Office. These are nationwide figure. Due to this, beneficiaries may not be able to access their funds and are advised to:
1) Make an affidavit at nearest police office.
2) Take your bar coded or smart card ID together with the affidavit to the nearest SASSA office.
3) The ID should be in your name and
4) Bring along proof of banking details.
