High temperatures in Mpumalanga are seeing a first in professional golf history. Players from around the globe are in Nkomazi for the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek, outside Malalane.
When the tournament kicks off tomorrow ( Nov 28), they would be allowed to play the gentleman’s game in shorts. Temperatures of high in the 30’s are predicted for the duration of the tournament.
With the final round on Sunday, the world’s top golfers would now know what Lowvelders know – Africa is not a place for sissies!
