Bushbuckridge police teach disabled children about their rights.

Bushbuckridge SAPS members and Community Police Forum members conducted an awareness campaign at Ebenezer home based care who cater children with disability.

The children were taught about rape and child abuse and how to report such cases since disable children are always vulnerable

According to constable Merilyne Mmonwa their station  believe in preventing crime before it happen and teaching kids especially those who live with disability about their rights and where to report such cases when they eing victimised.

“We are aware that most of this kids they are not even aware when they are being abused, that is why we are teaching them about the rights and we believe that they when it happen to them they will come report it to us” she said

The issue of drug abuse were sensitized to them, and they closed the day by donating  Shoes and clothes to all the disabled children.
