Mpu mom guilty of killing her four children

Zinhle Maditla,of Klarinet in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga had been found guilty of premeditated murder in the Witbank High Court. She would be sentenced on Tuesday, September 10. Maditla killed her children, (aged 4-8) with rat poison before taking some of it as well. The mother and her two girls and two boys were living in a rented room in the area and were reported missing on December 26, last year.

Another young woman dies

With the family of Uyinene Mrwetyana laying their murdered 19-year old girl to rest, student Natsaha Conabeer (23) died after having been found too late. She had been kidnapped two weeks ago. The KwaZulu Natal university student died this morning after having gone missing from her home to visit family. No further details had been forthcoming. In the meantime, Mrwetyana’s family is suing the South African Post Office (SAPO) after her attacker, a worker at the Clareinch post office, who apparently killed her, raped her and burnt her body inside…

Dros rape suspect pleads guilty in court

Nicolas Ninow, the man charged with the rape of a small girl in Dros in Silverton Pretoria last year, pleaded guilty as charged. He appeared in the Pretoria High Court earlier today and pronounced fit to stand trial. Chester dies at age 49

Chester Williams, a star of the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup-winning squad in 1995 and one of the best wings in South African rugby history died at age 49.
