More cops die in Mpumalanga vehicle accidents

Two more policemen were killed in a car accident, bringing the death toll of similar deaths in Mpumalanga’s SAPS to five since beginning June this year. Constables Portia Makhosazane Zwane and Mthokozisi Erick Nkosi both 27, died when their vehicle was hit by a truck which was traveling from Ermelo in the direction of Oshoek. Schoemanskloof roadworks complete

The rehabilitation of Schoemanskloof – between Crossroads and the Mashishing Intersection – is complete and Stop/Go’s have come to an end. The project took 10 months to complete, cost R80 million and  benefited local communities as the contractor – Tau Pele Construction – subcontracted portions of the initiative to locals. Numerous local labourers were also temporarily employed.
